Sk Sered signs Arsenal’s keeper Iliev With Nigerian Yakubu struggling
Slovakia Club Sered signs Arsenal ‘keeper Iliev Following Worrying Form Of Nigerian goalie Yakubu
Nigerian international goalkeeper Matthew Yakubu has been guilty of letting in some soft goals in his club SK Sered recently and this considerably poor form has seemingly pushed the club to act.
The Slovakian club has just signed Arsenal goalkeeper Dejan Iliev on a season long loan deal and he now is expected to win the starting shirt from the Nigerian.
Yakubu was named in the Super Eagles squad in their last year friendly games against Tunisia and Algeria but he,indeed, has put in some shocking get performances from Sered recently.
In the club’s last game he let in 3 goals including a soft Underhill shot which rolled in between his legs embarrasingly.
26 year-old Iliev with three loans in the last two seasons from Arsenal will be hoping to make his mark at Sered this season.
