Pjanic joins Besiktas on loan from Barcelona
Miralem Pjanic has joined Turkish side Besiktas on a one-year loan with no option to buy after hardly featuring for Barcelona in his first season at the club.
The transfer window in Spain closed on August 31, but it is still open in Turkey, meaning a deal could be struck to take the Bosnian to Istanbul.
Pjanic was a player that Barcelona were trying to sell this summer in an attempt to lighten their wage bill and he wan’t involved in Ronald Koeman’s plans for this campaign.
He played 30 matches last season season, starting 13 times and only completed a match five times.
