Today, Paris Saint-Germain and NIVEA MEN announced the extension of their partnership into the Brazilian market, a country in which both brands have become immensely popular and part of the daily lives of many consumers there.
To celebrate the partnership, Paris Saint-Germain and NIVEA MEN will launch their first campaign featuring some of the club’s star players Neymar Jr, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, Kylian MBappé and Adrien Rabiot. The #ReadyfortheGame campaign encourages football fans and consumers alike to be prepared to perform at their very best, whether on the field or in everyday life.
Given Brazil’s rich heritage in football and its passionate community of fans, the partnership expansion into the country is a natural one, particularly given Paris Saint-Germain’s strong ties to Brazil, where the Club is followed by several millions of fans on social media. More than 30 Brazilian stars have played for Paris Saint-Germain, and the Club currently boasts some of the top players of the Brazilian national roster.
Frédéric Longuépée, Deputy Managing Director in charge of business activities at Paris Saint-Germain, commented, “We have collaborated successfully with NIVEA MEN in France thus far, and as Paris Saint-Germain’s popularity continues to grow across the world, we are delighted to extend our partnership to new regions. We have millions of fans in Brazil and this partnership will be an opportunity to further engage our fan base and grow our brand in this key market for the club”.
“Football and men’s grooming share the same values of trust, union, passion and leadership. We know that football is a national passion. That’s why we want to position our brand in this environment, creating a strong and emotional bond with our consumers, “Andrea Bó, Marketing Director of NIVEA Brazil explains.
“Getting ready for the game of life; family, work and daily challenges makes men more self-assured”, added Andrea Bó. “Through this partnership, we want to inspire Brazilian men to always feel ready for whatever life throws at them.”
