Former Inter Milan player, Radja Nainggolan has had his driver’s license suspended after he was caught driving while drunk in Belgium.

The Belgian tested positive for alcohol in a breathalyser test after driving at high speed.

According to ‘Gazet van Antwerpen’, the 33-year-old midfielder, who now plays for Royal Antwerp, was stopped and tested for alcohol after going over twice the legal speed limit while driving.

The player drove past Scheldy pier at more than 100km/hour when the legal limit was 50. The police took his license off him for a month and fined him 1600 euros.

In a statement given by his lawyers, Nainggolan said that “he will choose a charity and make a voluntary donation with the fine.”

Nainggolan moved to Royal Antwerp on a free transfer from Inter Milan this summer. He hasn’t played a game yet for the Belgian top-division club, but has already began his season on a disappointing note.
