Man City batter Arsenal at the Etihad to compound Arteta’s woes
Manchester City produced a neat performance at the Eithad on Saturday afternoon to soundly beat Arsenal 5–0 in the Premier League.
The result sends Arsenal bottom of the Premier League log. They have now played three league games this season, losing all three and scoring zero goals in the process.
The Gunners lost 2–0 to both Brentford and Chelsea in their opening two games and have now shipped in 5 against City.
Thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus, Rodri and Ferran Torres, who scored a brace, Manchester City have now moved to the top of the league table, pending the results of other matches.
The pressure on Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta has only just increased.
