Victor Osimhen among Europe’s finest – Glasner

Eintracht Frankfurt Coach Oliver Glasner has lauded and highlighted key qualities that distinguish Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, as one of the best strikers in Europe’s top leagues at the moment.

Victor Osimhen has been in excellent form this season especially in the Italian top division, where his 18 goals have only been outscored by Manchester City goal-crazy Erling Haaland’s 26 across Europe’s top five leagues.

Those brilliant displays haven’t gone unnoticed with top sides like Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea amongst others been reported to have expressed interest in the Nigerian International.

Frankfurt also has a superb striker in Randal Kolo Muani, and when asked to draw a comparison between his France World Cup star and the Nigerian, Glasner replied:

“Both have exceptional pace and they have unusual tempo. Osimhen is a tad more robust. Randal plays off the shoulder more often and likes to go deep, whereas Osimhen is more of a hold-up player who pops the ball off for the forward-running midfielders.

“Both are currently among the top five strikers in Europe.”

Randal Kolo Muani, Eintracht Frankfurt’s frontman, has contributed directly to 29 goals (15 goals, 14 assists) in 30 matches so far this season, whereas Osimhen has 23 goal involvements in 23 games for Napoli.
