Paris Saint-Germain attacker Julian Draxler has extended his current contract which expires at the end of the season by another three years until 2024, the club announced.

“It’s a great pride for me, I love this club, and the city of Paris,” he said after extending his contract. “It’s a pleasure to play with very great players, for a team like this. I am very happy to have extended here.

“I hope we will continue to win a lot of trophies over the next three seasons! We will give everything to win titles, as we do in every game.”

He joined PSG from Wolfsburg in 2017 and has scored 24 goals and 39 assists in 172 games. He has won 10 trophies for the Rouge & Bleu: three Ligue 1 titles, three Coupes de France,  three Coupes de la Ligue and the Trophée des Champions.

He’s a full German international having made 56 appearances and scored 7 goals for the Die Mannschaft and won the 2014 World Cup.

He is the latest PSG player to sign a contract extension after Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Brazilian superstar Neymar.
