Nigeria international, Emmanuel Dennis made his Premier League debut for Watford against Aston Villa at Vicarage Road on Saturday and created an instant impact.
The 23-year-old attacker opened the scoring after just 10 minutes to give Watford an early lead before providing an assist for Ismaila Sarr just before halftime.
Dennis, in a post-match interview, spoke about how delighted he was with his debut, adding that he is pleased with his on-field partnership with Sarr.
“I’ll remember this for all my life. I am really happy. I am speechless. I don’t know what to say. I’m just really happy, “the Nigerian said.
When asked about his partnership with Sarr, Dennis said: “We get along good. In the training, we always play together. I am really happy with the combination. It’s a process. I am really happy we started in a good way. So we keep working.”
Dennis, who was signed from Club Brugge in July, was substituted in the 66th minute, with Watford going on to seal a 3–2 victory.
