Neymar Jr. Extends Psg Contract Until 2025

Brazilian attacker Neymar Jr. has ended all speculation regarding his future by committing to PSG for three more years, extending his contract which ends in June 2022 till June 2025.

Neymar joined PSG from Barvelona in 2017 for a world record €222m transfer fee and has scored 85 goals and 51 assists in his 112 games for the club.

“I’m really pleased to continue my adventure at Paris Saint-Germain,” said Neymar Jr on signing his new contract.

“I’m very happy in Paris, and proud to be part of this squad, to work with these players, a great coach and to be part of the history of this club. These are things that make me believe even more in this great project.

“I have grown as a person here, as a human being and as a player, too. So I am very happy to extend my contract and I hope to win many more trophies here.”

He has won nine trophies at the French capital; three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupes de France, two Coupes de la Ligue and two Trophées des Champions. He helped the club to their first ever Champions League final in 2020 which they lost to Bayern Munich.

He ends soevuclation that he could return to former club Barcelona in an attempt to reunite with Lionel Messi, who Neymar has declared public desire to play with again.
