Watford are officially promoted back to the Premier League after just a season in the Championship.

They were relegated from the Premier League last season but are now officially promoted as they cannot be caught he third placed Brentford and are guaranteed a top two finish.

They also stopped Norwich from being crowned Championship winners today. Bot teams were relegated last season.

If AFC Bournemouth who are in playoff places win the playoff, then all three teams relegated last season will be promoted back to the Premier League.

Nigerian defender William Troost-Ekong who joined the Watford in January from Udinese was instrumental in helping the Hornets gain promotion.
