DAVID RUDISHA DISSAPOINTED WITH THE CURRENT STATE OF ARSENAL FC

With Arsenal’s season threatening to unravel with only three games into the season, fans of the north London club across the world must now be worried about the future of their beloved team.
The Gunners began the season in fighting style, subduing Leicester City 4-3 in a thrilling encounter at the Emirates and while many Gooners may have preferred a much easier win, their performance in the game and the fact they won it late on must have excited them too, seeing how the team has caved in one too many times in recent years.
However, back-to-back losses to Stoke and Liverpool – the latter seeing them posting one of their worst ever performances in the Premier League era – it seems a deja Vu, only this time it has come too soon.
And one of such fans who is disappointed with the current state of the club is two-time Olympic champion, David Rudisha.
The Kenyan middle-distance runner is a die-hard Arsenal fan, and like many other Arsenal fans across the world, he isn’t happy.
“I’m a great fan of Arsenal, but it is really unfortunate that every season we chase after the door every season,” he told OmaSports exclusively.

“It always seems like we are almost there, but we are never there.”
Asked if it was a case of changing the manager like almost everyone else has suggested, the 29-year old was non-committal, but yet admitted that ‘something must be done’ to stem the tide.
“Something has to be done to see that the team performs well,” he said smiling at the suggestion of Wenger being sacked.
“We want them to win the Premier League because that is the happiness of the fans,” he added.
