Arsenal sign forward Kai Havertz from Chelsea in £65m deal

Arsenal have completed the £65m signing of Germany forward Kai Havertz from Chelsea.

Havertz joined Chelsea in 2020. During his three seasons with the Blues, he made 139 appearances, scoring 32 goals and assisting 15 times in all competitions.

The German notably scored the only goal of the match in Chelsea’s victory over Manchester City in the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final.

Havertz will join up with his new team mates for pre-season training in early July and will wear the number 29 shirt.
