Deportivo La Coruna names Calrence Seedorf as their new manager

Spanish Liga side, Deportivo La Coruna have named former Dutch international midfielder, Clarence Seedorf as their third coach of the season.

The 41-year-old replaces Cristobal Parallo, who was sacked on Sunday after leading the club to just 2 league wins in 13 games in charge.

Seedorf is best known for his time as a midfielder and played for sides such Ajax, Sampdoria, Inter and AC Milan and Real Madrid.

He made his coaching debut with AC Milan, spending 22 games in the dugout and recently had a spell with the Chinese side, Shenzhen FC before being sacked after 14 games in 2016.

Seedorf has signed a contract to the end of the current season and takes over at Deportivo with the team third from bottom of the Liga Santander with just 17 points from 22 games. He will make his debut with a home game against Betis on February 12th.
