As the year runs out and a new year begins, the tradition for most people is to make new year resolutions and plans. For footballers, it is more about setting targets and objectives. It could be the number of goals they want to score for strikers, or making improvements in their style of play for players in other positions and many more. One player, who is already setting his objectives for the year 2018 is Nigerian and Videoton FC of Hungary striker, Henty Ezekiel. Henty, who is currently enjoying his holiday in Nigeria, spoke with Omasports, inside his beautiful Lekki home, the bulky midfielder said: ” My personal goal for 2018 is, just like the goal of every striker, is to score a lot of goals and also to make a lot of assists, but the most important thing for me is to try and help your team win matches, I also want to help my team be the best in the league, in other to reach Europe. This is the highest level, every Player’s dream is to play in these competitions, The Champions League or the Europa Cup. I want to work towards that, and scoring a lot of goals would mean, winning a lot of games, winning a lot of games would mean going to Europe, although our target is the Champions League, however, we just have to be the champions of the league first and at the summer, we would hope to compete in the Champions League.”
Henty joined the Hungarian outfit, FC Videoton in the summer of 2017 from Russian giants, Locomotive Moscow after a brief spell on loan in the United emirate with Baniyas FC
