“It’s a Dream to Be Here” – Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Joins Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Georgian international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Italian side Napoli.
Kvaratskhelia was instrumental in Napoli’s historic 2023 Scudetto victory, ending the club’s 33-year title drought. During his time in Serie A, the forward established himself as one of Europe’s brightest talents, earning accolades such as Best Player and Best Assister in Serie A and Best Young Player in the Champions League. His performances also earned him a 17th-place finish in the Ballon d’Or rankings.
In 107 appearances for Napoli, Kvaratskhelia registered an impressive 30 goals and 29 assists across all competitions, cementing his reputation as a standout player in his position.
Now, as Paris Saint-Germain’s latest acquisition – and the first Georgian player in the club’s history – the 22-year-old is eager to begin this new chapter.
“It’s a dream to be here,” said Kvaratskhelia during his unveiling. “I’ve heard a lot of very positive things about Paris Saint-Germain. I feel immense pride in joining this great club, and I’m really looking forward to wearing my new colours.”
