Here’s what Super Eagles coach Peseiro had to say about Victor Osimhen

Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen will have an MRI scan to check the extent of his injury, Super Eagles boss Jose Peseiro said.

Osimhen was substituted injured in the 59th minute in Nigeria’s friendly against Saudi Arabia in Portugal on Friday evening.

Speaking after the game, Peseiro told Omasports, “Victor is not too good now. He’s had an MRI scan to check the situation. We have a good contact and communication with his club [Napoli].

“He’s a fantastic player. Napoli need him. We need him also.”
