Osimhen’s Napoli to face Barcelona in Champions League last-16
Serie A champions Napoli have been drawn to face Barcelona for a place in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, following the draws made today.
The two teams last faced each other in the Europa League knockout stage in 2022, with Barcelona winning 5-3 on aggregate.
“There is still time to go but they are league champions, like we are, and I believe we will see two tough games,” Barcelona’s sporting director Deco said.
Holders Manchester City will play Copenhagen, while Arsenal face Porto.
Record 14-time winners Real Madrid meet RB Leipzig, while Inter Milan – runners-up last season – play Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich face Lazio.
The first legs take place on 13-14 or 20-21 February and the second on 5-6 or 12-13 March.
The final takes place at Wembley on 1 June.
