Manchester City are eager to sign Ronaldo, Italian publication says

Manchester City are now eager to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Corriere dello Sport. But only if they can get him for free.

There have been transfer rumours in recent weeks about Ronaldo’s next destination if he’s to leave Juventus and, at the moment, the Etihad seems to top the list.

City lost out on Tottenham forward, Harry Kane and are now hoping to get Ronaldo. They have however told his agent, Jorge Mendes, that they do not want to pay a transfer fee for him.

To get Ronaldo, though, City will have to sell a player and Raheem Sterling is considered the main candidate to be sold.
