Maduka Okoye produced a solid performance for Udinese in their Coppa Italia Round of 32 clash with Cagliari on Wednesday night.
Udinese came agonizingly close to forcing a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes but were edged in the last minute of extra-time – conceding in the 120th minute.
However, Okoye’s performance on the night earned him plenty of praise. The 24-year-old Nigerian made eight saves, earning him an 8.7 performance rating.

Speaking to Omasports after the game, Okoye said: “The goal is to stay humble and keep working hard and to get back to the top where I belong to.”
Udinese next travel to Milan to face AC Milan in the Serie A.
