Victor Boniface claims second consecutive Bundesliga award
Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for September, beating RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simmon and Maximilian Beier of Hoffenheim to the award.
It’s a second consecutive Rookie award for the 22-year-old Nigeria international.

Boniface joined Leverkusen in July and has been having a fantastic start to life in the German top division.
He has scored seven goals in as many league games to help Leverkusen top the league standings.
He is also the third highest goal scorer in the league behind Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy.
