Osimhen included in Napoli’s squad to face Udinese; snubs teammates after arriving team’s hotel

Victor Osimhen appeared to look furious when he arrived at Napoli’s team hotel on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the Wednesday’s Serie A clash against Udinese.

Despite the controversy surrounding the now deleted TikTok videos, Serie A champions, Napoli have included the Nigerian in their match-day squad for the game at home against Udinese.

A video of Osimhen was shared on X, which showed the striker arriving the team’s hotel but not exchanging pleasantries with his teammates. He shook hands with only team manager Giuseppe Santoro before walking into the hotel.

Osimhen joined Napoli for a club-record 81.3m euros in the summer of 2020 and he was integral to helping them win a first Serie A title in 33 years last season, scoring a leading 26 goals in 32 league appearances.

The 24-year-old – who was heavily linked with Chelsea and Manchester United this summer – has scored three goals in six appearances this campaign.
