Akinkunmi Amoo joins Omonoia FC from Copenhagen on 3-year deal

Nigerian International Akinkunmi Amoo has completed his transfer from FC Copenhagen to Omonoia FC.

Amoo signed a three-year permanent deal with the Cyprus side.

Amoo, 21, joined FC Copenhagen from Hammarby in January 2022 but has endured a miserable time at the club.

He played just four times for the Danish club since his arrival, scoring just one goal.

Amoo has been unlucky with injuries, missing the whole of last season after tearing his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL).

The former Golden Eaglets star was touted as the next Nigerian star after excelling with the Nigerian U-17 team four years ago.
