England outclassed China for a 6-1 against China in their final World Cup group game to set up a round of 16 showdown with Nigeria’s Super Falcons.

Lauren James produced a sublime performance for the European champions, as she scored twice and produced three assists.

England finish top of their group with three wins out of three, conceding just once. However, Nigeria’s coach Randy Waldrum is unfazed.

“It’s the European champions. We’ve already played the Olympic gold medallists (Canada). We’ve already played the host nation (Australia),” he said.

“So it’s just going to be another one of those matches that we’ve already been playing in.”

Nigeria and England will go head-to-head for a place in the quarterfinals on Monday, August 7.
