Speaking right after the transfer announcement by AC Milan, Chukwueze said “it was a great feeling” when he heard that the 7-time Champions League winners were looking for him. However, he noted that what really motivated him to join was the way the club’s supporters made him feel.
“Throughout my social media, I saw AC Milan fans writing me to come to the club. They are amazing people. The first impression was the fans. They are the people who made me come here – because of the way they were sending me messages on my Instagram, which was amazing.”
Chukwueze, who’s been capped 28 times for Nigeria, will wear the number 21 shirt.
