The 26-year-old Czech player now awaits the winner between top-seeded Iga Swiatek from Poland and 14th seed Beatriz Haddad Maia from Brazil, with the final scheduled for Saturday.

Notably, Swiatek, the defending champion, will retain her world number one ranking if she prevails over Haddad Maia and advances to the final, having held the position for an impressive 62 consecutive weeks.
