West Ham beat Fiorentina to win first major title in 43 years

West Ham edged Fiorentina 2-1 in the Europa Conference League final in Prague to emerge winners of the European competition.

It’s the Hammers first major trophy in 43 years.

Said Benrahma converted from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute to give West Ham a 1-0 lead but Fiorentina drew level 5 minutes later. thanks to a Giacomo Bonaventura strike.

Jarrod Bowen, however, scored the decisive goal in the 90th minute to seal a momentous victory for his side at the Eden Arena.
