The 24-year-old emerged victorious, triumphing over strong contenders such as Yassine Bono and Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, as well as Inaki Williams of Athletic Bilbao and the Black Stars of Ghana.

Chukwueze’s remarkable achievement came as a result of votes from over 30,000 fans and 26 African journalists. Their collective recognition highlights his exceptional contributions to the game.
Throughout the season, Chukwueze showcased his talent and dedication, featuring in 37 matches and accumulating an impressive total of 2348 minutes on the pitch. He started in 27 of those matches, demonstrating his indispensability to the team.
In LaLiga alone, Chukwueze made a significant impact, netting six goals and providing five assists.
Not only did Chukwueze excel in domestic competitions, but he also shone in all other competitions, amassing a remarkable 13 goals and 11 assists in 50 appearances throughout the season.
