On Wednesday, prior to the Europa Conference League final, a group of black-clad Fiorentina fans attacked West Ham United supporters in a bar in central Prague.
This incident resulted in injuries to three patrons, and even a police officer was targeted.
Videos circulating on Twitter showed fans setting off flares and causing damage by throwing tables.

“Italy fans attacked West Ham fans in a bar on Rytirska street, injuring three,” Czech police said on Twitter. “A police officer was also attacked. We have restricted the personal liberty of 16 people.”

In response, the Czech police have taken 16 suspects into custody, and they have tightened security measures with several hundred officers deployed to ensure the safety of the estimated 20,000 West Ham supporters expected in Prague for their team’s first European competition final in nearly 50 years.
