Djokovic passes Khachanov test to reach French Open semis
Novak Djokovic overcame a challenging quarter-final against Karen Khachanov to maintain his pursuit of a record 23rd men’s Grand Slam singles title at the French Open.
Despite being in danger of falling behind by two sets, Djokovic emerged victorious with a 4-6, 7-6 (7-0), 6-2, 6-4 triumph after three hours and 43 minutes.

His win puts him in a position to potentially become the first man to win each of the four majors at least three times.
In the semi-finals, Djokovic could face world number one Carlos Alcaraz, who will be competing against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Tuesday night session.
Throughout the tournament, Djokovic had not dropped a set on the Paris clay, but Khachanov provided the test he needed to prepare for the upcoming challenges.
