Cameroon International Ignatius Ganago was on target for his club Nantes in their 4-2 defeat to league leaders PSG.
The striker, who has been mourning the tragic death of his five-year-old daughter Chloé for the past month, scored his side’s second goal to help them tie the game at halftime against the current Ligue 1 champions before ultimately losing the match.
Ganago lost his daughter in February and was given time off by Nantes to return to Cameroon to be with his family during this difficult time. He later returned to action for the French side against Rennes in a Ligue 1 match on February 23rd.
Following his goal against PSG, Les Canaries paid a touching tribute to the striker’s daughter on social media, referencing her name alongside a picture of Ganago.
