Juventus picked up a 1-0 win over rivals Fiorentina to go into the top half of the Serie A table, thanks to a first-half goal from Adrien Rabiot.
While the game itself was not devoid of controversy and VAR drama, there was drama off the pitch once the game ended.
Dusan Vlahovic had a goal disallowed due to offside and Gaetano Castrovilli stunning drive was disallowed as Luca Ranieri was offside in the build-up.
Corriere della Sera point out that after the game, Allegri was involved in a verbal spat with fans.
When a section of stand after the game was chanting about specific players, Allegri had stared up at them and told them to shut up and said: “You go train” in an attempt to defend his players from abuse and criticism.
In his interview with DAZN after the game, Allegri also briefly spoke about this incident and revealed the reason for his anger.
He said: “I got angry because in times of difficulty, people should support us. 90 percent do it, but there is a 10 percent who dispute regardless and take out their anger on Kean, De Sciglio and Paredes.
They are Juventus players. Instead, there are those who come to the stadium to boo them. I think it’s disrespectful to kids who are doing good things in a difficult moment. Next time, maybe, there will be fewer who want to contest this.”
Allegri was also quick to remind everyone during the post-game interview that if not for the points deduction, Juve would have 44 points in the bag right now.
