Kyrie Irving makes Dallas Mavericks debut

Kyrie Irving scored 24 points and dished out five assists in his Dallas Mavericks debut to help power a 110-104 victory over the host Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

Kyrie Irving, who was officially acquired from the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, helped pick up the slack for an absent Luka Doncic, who missed his third consecutive game with a heel injury. Norman Powell scored 24 points for the Clippers.
Damian Lillard had 33 points as part of his second career triple-double and host Portland Trail Blazers spoiled Klay Thompson’s 33rd birthday by edging Golden State Warriors 125-122. Jordan Poole had a game-high 38 points for the Warriors.
Elsewhere, the Washington Wizards got 36 points from big man Kristaps Porzingis as they breezed past Charlotte Hornets 118-104. P.J. Washington led the Hornets in scoring with 20 points. The Sacramento Kings beat the Houston Rockets in a close game by 130-128. De’Aaron Fox had a double double (31 points, 11 assists) for the Kings while Jalen Green finished with 41 points for the Rockets

Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Detroit Pistons 113-85, San Antonio lost to Toronto Raptors 112-98. A delepted Boston Celtics got a win at home over the Philadelphia 76ers 106-99.
Indiana Pacers fell to it’s 10 straight away loss as they were beaten by the Miami Heats 116-111, and Minnesota Timberwolves routed Utah Jazz 143-118
