Mane sends Senegal into second straight Afcon final
Senegal advanced to their second consecutive Africa Cup of Nations final, thanks to a 3-1 victory over Burkina Faso in Douala, Cameroon on Wednesday.
Liverpool forward Sadio Mane scored one and assisted another as the Teranga Lions powered through to book a final meeting with either Egypt or Cameroon.

Both teams were locked in a goalless affair until the 70th minute when Abdou Diallo put Senegal ahead. Six minutes later Bamba Dieng doubled their advantage from Mane’s assist.
Burkina Faso would reduce the deficit through Ibrahim Toure with eight minutes to go, but Mane crushed any hope of a comeback by netting Senegal’s third to ensure victory.
Egypt and Cameroon will square off on Thursday for the chance to face Senegal in the final.
