Randers sign Stephen Odey on a permanent deal

Randers FC have exercised their option of signing Stephen Odey permanently from Genk after the initial loan option, penning a deal with the Nigerian until 2024.

Odey, 23, has impressed since joining the Danish Superliga side in August, scoring 11 goals in 15 appearances across all competitions. He was voted Player of the Month in for October in Denmark for his superb efforts.

“Since joining a lease this summer, Stephen Odey has taken Randers FC and 3F Superligaen by storm,” the club said in a statement.

“We are therefore pleased to announce that Randers FC has bought Stephen Odey from Belgian Genk and signed a contract with him valid until the summer of 2024.

Randers are third on the Superliga standings – six points off leaders Midtjylland.
