Liverpool end Arsenal unbeaten run in crushing style

Liverpool brushed Arsenal aside 4-0 at Anfield in the Premier League to end their unbeaten run.

The Gunners went into the match with a 10-match unbeaten streak but the Reds produced a strong display to halt that run and secure their fourth consecutive win over Mikel Arteta’s side in the Premier League.

Sadio Mane scored in the first half to put Liverpool ahead before second half goals from Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino sealed a convincing home win.

Liverpool are now up to second on the league log – four points behind leaders Chelsea.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are fifth – nine points off the top.
