Real Madrid monitoring Ndidi and Pogba

Real Madrid have Leicester City and Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi on their radar, Mundo Deportivo reports. The Spanish giants are reportedly interested in the 24-year-old Nigerian.

Ndidi has been an ever-present figure for English Premier League side Leicester since his move to the club from Genk in 2017. Ndidi, who’s one of the best ball-winners in the Premier League, currently has a market value of €56-60m. His contract at Leicester is set to expire at the end of the season.

But Manchester United are said to also be following the Nigerian closely, ‘viewing him as the man to plug their porous midfield.’

Additionally, Marca reports that Madrid are also monitoring Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba.

Pogba’s contract with Man United expires at the end of the season, but the 28-year-old will be free to negotiate with teams outside the Premier League from January.

The January transfer window opens January 1.
