Aguero out of Barca squad as he’s subjected to diagnostic & therapeutic process

Barcelona forward Sergio Aguero has been placed under a diagnostic and therapeutic process, the club announced.

Aguero is unavailable for selection and will miss Barca’s Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

“During the next three months, the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process,” the club said.

The Argentine was diagnosed with a cardiac arrhythmia – a heart rhythm rate disorder on Sunday.

He had struggled with chest pain during Barcelona’s match against Alaves at the weekend and was replaced at half time and then taken to hospital for cardiologic analysis.

Aguero signed for Barcelona in July and has featured four times in the league this season, with a goal to his name.
