Arsenal prevailed over Leicester 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday to continue their Premier League resurgence.

The Gunners, who were in the relegation zone after losing their first three games of the season, are now up to fifth on the log – five points adrift of leaders Chelsea, who are in action at Newcastle later.

Gabriel Magalhaes and Emile Smith Rowe scored inside the opening twenty minutes to put Arsenal ahead and they stayed so for the rest of the game, thanks to some stunning saves from Ramsdale, also.

Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho started for Leicester – only his third start this season – but was subbed off at the break.

Leicester have now lost four of their opening ten league games this season and are in 10th place on the log.
