Golden Eaglets drawn in Group B for U17 AFCON

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have been drawn in Group B for the U17 AFCON coming up in Morocco from March 13 to 31. 

The five times world Champion are drawn alongside Tanzania, Algeria and DR Congo. Hosts Morocco are in group A with Uganda, Zambia and WAFU B champion Côte D’Ivoire. Group C has Cameroon, Senegal, Mali and South Africa.

The Fatai Amoo led Golden Eaglets qualified for the tournament as runners up of the WAFU B tourney, where they lost 3-2 to Côte D’Ivoire in Lome, Togo.
