Francis Uzoho rejoins AC Omonia

Nigeria international Francis Uzoho has joined Cypriot First Division club AC Omonia after parting ways with Apoel FC.

The 22-year-old announced the move on Instagram as he will reunite his Super Eagles teammate Shehu Abdullahi at the GSP Stadium.

“Happy to be back home,” Uzoho said.

With two years left on his current contract, the Nigerian parted ways with Apoel by mutual consent with no reason given.

Following his return to the club, he would be hoping to displace Constantinos Panagi as Henning Berg’s first choice.

Uzoho is currently in Gernot Rohr’s squad for this month’s World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.
