Ronaldo assures Allegri he won’t leave Juve
Cristiano Ronaldo has told coach Massimiliano Allegri that he will stay at Juventus despite transfer rumours.
There have been talks linking Ronaldo with Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester City, but the great Portuguese rubbished them earlier in the week, and has now told his manager that he will remain in Turin.
Speaking with reporters ahead of their season opener, Allegri said: “Ronaldo is an added bonus for us, because he guarantees a large number of goals. Obviously, we also have to work as a team to get the best out of an individual.
“He has always trained well, I just read the gossip in the papers. He never told us he wanted to leave.
“Ronaldo told me that he is staying at Juventus.”
With Ronaldo, the Old Lady will seek to reclaim the Serie A title and pursue Champions League glory this season.
