Messi and family to cool off in Barcelona for the weekend.

After being left out of Paris Saint-Germain’s latest squad to face Brest, Lionel Messi has returned to Barcelona to spend the weekend at his home in Castelldefels.

PSG take on Brest this Friday without Messi as he continues his pre-season to get back to his best physical condition as soon as possible.

Per ‘Mundo Deportivo’, the Argentinian star has returned to Barcelona to enjoy his home in Castelldefels until Sunday.

Messi landed at the Barcelona airport in the company of his wife and kids. Also with him were members of his entourage.
Messi is expected to be available for Pochettino on matchday 4 of Ligue 1 against Reims, against whom he could make his PSG debut.
