Martin Odegaard has joined Arsenal from Real Madrid on a permanent deal.
Following an agreement by both clubs, the Norway international, who joins for an initial £30m fee plus bonuses, was in London on Wednesday undergoing a medical.
Odegaard spent the second half of last season on loan with the Gunners after failing to break into the Real Madrid team, which was under Zinedine Zidane’s management.
He made 20 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals, including a strike in Arsenal’s north London derby win over Tottenham back in March.
