Barcelona issues ultimatum to Umtiti: Leave or be sacked

Barcelona have given defender, Samuel Umtiti an ultimatum. Either the Frenchman accepts one of the offers that are coming in for him or the club will terminate his contract.

The club’s patience with Umtiti has worn thin. The player is not willing to leave the club, as he wants to serve out the remaining two years of his contract, even if he does not play.

Barca are now prepared to terminate his contract if he does not agree to leave. According to reports, he’s been given a week to accept one of the offers that have come in for him.

However, if the Frenchman decides not to choose any, a contract termination will bring him profits. The financial loss for Barca will only be short-term, but they’ll be happy to be without the 27-year-old.
