Antonio Conte And Inter Milan Part Ways By Mutual Consent
Italian champions Inter Milan have parted ways with manager Antonio Conte after both parties agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent, the club confirmed in a statement.
“FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Antonio Conte for the termination of his contract by mutual consent,” the statement reads.
“The Club would like to thank Antonio for the extraordinary work that he has done, culminating in Inter’s 19th top-flight title. Antonio Conte will forever remain a part of our Club’s history.”
The former Chelsea and Juventus manager took charge of the Nerazzurri in 2019, reaching the Europa League final in his first season, losing to Sevilla and won the Scudetto this season, Inter first since 2010.
He leaves the club amid reports of financial crisis which would mean the club selling some of its top stars to raise funds.
