Nigeria’s Dickson Abiama Secures Bundesliga Promotion For Greuther Fürth

German club Greuther Fürth will be playing in Germany’s highest league, Bundesliga next season. The dream of a Nigerian footballer, Dickson Abiama to play football at the highest level is fulfilled.

Abiama came on with the scores levelled 2-2 against Fortuna Dusseldorf, he scored within two minutes of coming on to win the game 3-2 for Greuther Fürth and it was enough to finish second and secure automatic promotion to the Bundesliga.

Dickson Abiama, 22, is a Nigerian footballer based in Germany, who came to limelight after he spoke to OmaSports in an exclusive interview in December about his journey from the streets of Niferian to become professional footballer in Germany. 

Abiama scored six goals and assisted a further to help Greuther Fürth secure promotion.
