It’s Everyone’s Dream To Play For Enyimba, Says Defender Alalibo
Enyimba defender Somiari Alalibo says it is everyone’s dream to play for the Aba based club after making his long-awaited debut in the 2-0 loss to Rangers in the NPFL match in Enugu.
Alalibo joined the Enyimba at the beginning of the season from Dakkada FC and fulfilled his childhood dream by making his debut after spells on the sidelines.
“I feel fulfilled because it is everybody’s dream to play for Enyimba,” he told the club’s official website. “Enyimba is a big team. I gave my best but by my standards I know I’m going to get better.
“Hopefully, I’m beginning to get myself, with time I’m going to break in fully, it is a gradual process. Initially I stayed for about two months without playing, I recovered, then suffered an ankle injury, so I’m getting myself gradually.”
He had a debut to forget in the colours of the People’s Elephant, conceding two penalties but will be hoping to bounce back and justify the reason Fatai Osho invested in bringing him to the club.
Enyimba is Nigeria’s most successful club with eight league titles, four FA Cups and two CAF Champions League.
