Borussia Dortmund’s young English midfielder Jude Bellingham  has donated a school to kids in Mombasa, Kenya.

“The school in Mombasa is finished and the kids are enjoying being back in lessons and learning. Massive thank you to those who donated and supported, myself and the team really appreciate it,” the 17year old tweeted.

He did this in conjunction with Mustard Seed Project, a Small UK charity building a school & providing quality education to poor african children.

In November 2020, Bellingham put it to public notice about the need for a school in the region. Then he hoped to have it completed before Christmas.

According to him, “Education turns kids away from radical extremism, drug abuse & crime” He is also working with the charity organisation to use donations to provide meals to the kids in school.

Bellingham made a £22m move from boyhood club Birmingham City to Borussia Dortmund in the summer and has put up impressive performances, becoming the club’s youngest Bundesliga and Champions League goalscorer.
