Gio Reyna Has A Bright Future But Has A Lot To Prove, Says Pulisic

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is in awe of the potential of American compatriot Gio Reyna and says the teenager has a bright future ahead of him but has a lot to prove to get there.

Pulisic who also starred for Dortmund as a teenager before moving to Chelsea says the sky’s the limit for the 18year old Gio.

“I think for Gio, really, the sky’s the limit,” Pulisic told CBS Sports, via Bundesliga. “He’s got a bright future ahead of him. But like I said, he’s still got a lot to prove to get to that point.

“Obviously, we see the potential right now and a lot of talent. So we’re really excited. He’s gotta keep proving himself.”

Reyna has scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists in 60 competitive games for Borussia Dortmund since making his debut in January 2020. He made his USMNT debut in November 2020.
