The moving in and out of coaches at German clubs continues as Borussia Monchengladbach announced that Eintracht Frankfurt manager Adi Hütter will take over the club from next season.

Current manager Marco Rose was announced as new Borussia Dortmund boss in February and will take over from interim Edin Terzic at the end of the season.

The 51-year-old Austrian signed a three-year contract with the Foals. “We’re delighted that Adi Hütter has agreed to join us,” said Gladbach’s sporting director Max Eberl.

“He is the best coach to take on the challenges and goals that we have as a team and as a club from summer and beyond.”

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Xabi Alonso was first reported by Bild to be the new manager before Alonso opted to renew his contract as Real Sociedad B manager.

Hütter is on course to lead Frankfurt to Champions League qualification or an Europa League spot at least but will leave to join Gladbach whose chances of European places next season gets thinner by games.
